Originally from Parksville, Kelsey moved to Victoria in 2011 to attend the University of Victoria.
With a deep fascination for the universe and a knack for numbers, she began her undergraduate degree in the Physics and Astronomy program. Though her studies continued to intrigue her, she began to wonder if a client-facing career path would better suit her personality. An extrovert by nature, Kelsey believed that a key factor of her happiness and success in her career was the ability to help others, whether businesses or individuals, reach their full potential.
This led to her decision to transition to the Peter B. Gustavson School of Business where she obtained her Bachelor of Commerce degree as a precursor to the CPA program. Since graduating from the CPA program in 2019, Kelsey has had experience in both public practice accounting and in industry where she worked at a local craft brewery.
When Kelsey is not at work, she is often in the kitchen testing out a new recipe, planning her next adventure, or hitting the trails for a weekend hike. She loves to learn and expose herself to new things any chance she gets, whether that is a new destination, activity, or piece of literature.
Now that Kelsey has transitioned back to public practice, she is eager to learn and add to her varied knowledge base. She is committed to continuous development so that she can provide the best value to all PALLAN & ASSOCIATES clients.
