Avery grew up in White Rock before moving to Victoria in 2013. Her passion for the outdoors and interest in Victoria’s food scene captured the heart of this self-acclaimed foodie. She’s never looked back.
Avery’s natural administrative capabilities guided her through a variety of roles before joining the accounting industry in 2015. It was here that she was able to broaden her understanding of processes and procedures and develop systems to support her colleagues. Throughout her 10 years of administrative experience, she has realized that it’s not just about data entry or attention to detail – her passion for solution-based problem solving is what lights her up. She enjoys PALLAN & ASSOCIATES’ constant encouragement to explore different strategies to strengthen the organization’s effectiveness.
In March 2021, Avery enrolled in the Graduate Diploma of Project Management and Organizational Leadership at Royal Roads University. She hopes to combine the skills she has acquired through her work experience and the education gained at Royal Roads to bring strategic support to organizations in need.
In her free time, Avery loves hiking, multi-day backpacking trips, camping, mushroom picking and swimming. When exercising is said and done, she loves visiting local restaurants and breweries or binge-watching Netflix at home with her partner, one dog and one cat.
